Introduction
Game of Goose 2 is a delightful and exciting digital remake of one of the oldest and most beloved board games in history — the classic Game of the Goose! First played in 16th century Europe, this timeless race game has entertained families for centuries, and now it comes to life in your browser in a fresh, polished new version packed with all the charm of the original. Roll two dice, move your piece across a winding track of 63 colourful squares, and be the very first player to land exactly on the final square to claim victory! But beware — the path to glory is riddled with treacherous special squares that can send you all the way back to the start, trap you in a deep well, lock you in a bird cage prison, or force you to wander a confusing maze. Play against friends on the same device or challenge smart AI opponents — Game of Goose 2 is simple enough for young children yet exciting enough to keep the whole family entertained for hours, completely free and instantly playable in your browser!
How to Play
Each player takes turns rolling the dice and moving their colourful goose piece forward along the numbered track of 63 squares. Landing on a Goose square marked with a 2X symbol lets you roll again and repeat your move for a double advance. Landing on special hazard squares triggers unique penalties — the Bridge sends you to a different spot, the Well and Prison trap you until another player lands on the same square to free you, the Maze sends you back several squares, and the dreaded Skull square at square 58 sends you all the way back to square 1! The first player to land exactly on square 63 wins the game. If you overshoot square 63 with your dice roll, your piece bounces back by the excess number — so precise rolling and a little luck are both essential to victory!
